GRANDMASTER
Wayne Peter Dear, aka Grandmaster,
burst onto the Caribbean music
scene with a vengeance when
he set dancehall fans into a
frenzy with his, "Put Yah
Hands on the Bumper," for
Crop Over '94. His next venture
was for the Congaline Festival,
wowing party revelers with "Ringbang
in De Conga."
A newcomer to the music scene
and the ICE Records label, he
is motivated by drums. They
"speak" to him. After
hours of listening, he beings
to write, very often committing
these "messages" to
paper, which later translate
into hit songs |
