Six times crowned the
Barbados Crop Over Road
March King, Macdonald
Blenmen, aka Gryner,
the people's pied piper,
was one of the first
artists to be signed
to the ICE Record label
in Barbados.
His
name is synonymous with
"on stage bacchanal"
in the Caribbean, North
and South America, and
the United Kingdom.
His fans will appreciate
his early hits now on
Ice Records CD "Grynner
- The Road March King."
Grynner's
continued successes
are featured on "Illegal
Tender," "Large
and in Charge,"
"500 Blue,"
"Soca Trinity,"
and "Fire in De
Wave," on which
his track bears the
same name as the album
title.
The
future impacted on by
his own desire, and
the inspirational genius
of Eddy Grant, his mentor
and friend, looms brighter
than a Caribbean sun
peeping the horizon
for Grynner.
