"The BEAT" (a/k/a the English Beat) are about to release a DVD featuring a song called "Rough Rider" (also recorded by Prince Buster and featured in a film entitled "Sorority Boys" released by Disney) which has become a Reggae Icon. Eddy shares writer credit with Lincoln and Derv Gordon (his two mates from The Equals days) and his brother Patrick. The song was originally recorded under the pseudonym, The FOUR GEES, and was released through President Records. It was recorded in 1966 and has been very popular ever since.
